Very worst experience. All staff members are rude, untrained, and unnecessarily oversmart. I strongly suggest visiting another PSK if you want a smooth, hassle-free process.

Enter the post office premise and take a right. It’s a stand alone building. The process didn’t take very long. We left before an hour of entering premises. The staff were mostly polite. But I still can’t rate them well because of a few things.

I had a mixed experience. Even though the staff is helpful and managing queues quite well, The infrastructure needs massive renovation and repair. The waiting area is very small with just 2 pedestal fan. When the queue gets big, they have to stand outside of the PSK as there was no adequate waiting area. Drinking water is available but not well accessible from waiting area.

We ( my wife and myself) went for re issue of passport before expiry of validity today on 28/8/25. Had a great experience with the staff. They are very helpful , professional and polite. Our job completed within 1 hour of the scheduled time. Many negative reviews were found but our experience is positive right from the moment we entered the office. Many people are not carrying the required documents and staff are explaining them what is required and how to get the documents and which format is acceptable. PSK Asansol staff are doing a great job. Many a thanks to them for giving a wonderful Service to all passport applicants coming here.
5. Oindrilla Mukherjee:
Behaviour just horrible. Went in to enquire abt bringing in a senior citizen in 70s. The persons at verifucayion just said ” faltu ka bak bak ” and refused to answer. Is this an outpost of the govt ? Was much better last time was there.

The staffs are soo unprofessional and unhelpful to normal people, unless you’re known to them. They can even break the sequence if someone is known to them. They’ll go first, whatever the sequence is. Really disappointed by their management
