1. Complete the Online Passport Application: The process begins with registration on the official Passport Seva Portal. After logging in, applicants select the appropriate passport service and complete the online form. 

2. Check the Applicable Document Requirements: Before booking or attending the appointment, identify the documents required for your particular application. Depending on the circumstances, supporting documents can relate to:

• Date of birth
• Present address
• Identity
• Previous passport, where applicable
• Family or parental information
• Name or personal-particular changes
• Special circumstances

3. Keep Original Documents Ready: Applicants should bring the required original documents to the appointment, along with photocopies where applicable. Passport Seva’s application guidance specifically instructs applicants to carry the necessary documents when visiting the PSK.

4. Check That Information Matches: Before the appointment, compare the information entered in the passport application with the supporting documents. Pay particular attention to:

• Full name and spelling

• Place of birth
• Parents’ details

• Previous passport details, if applicable

5. Attend the Scheduled Appointment: Applicants must attend the PSK or POPSK on the date and time assigned through the Passport Seva system.
