Passport Police Verification Process
After the process of passport office verification is completed with an appointment date and time, the police verification process is started within 5 or 7 days. If the police do not come to your address after 21 days, go to the nearest police station with the original documents.

Police Verification Type
1. Pre-Verification
Pre-verification means you get your passport before police verification. In some types of cases, you get a passport before pre-verification, like a tatkaal passport, a government employee’s passport, or if a passport officer does not need police verification before obtaining a passport.
2. Post-Verification
Post-verification means you get your passport after police verification, and a police report is sent to the passport head office without any issue.
