In Budget 2017 as per section 139AA Income Tax Act Assessment year 2019-20, you cannot file any type of income tax return if you cannot link aadhar no with pan card. So it is necessary to link aadhar no with pan card. If aadhar cannot link with Pan, so you must correction aadhar data as same as pan data like full name, father name,  address, date of birth,  etc . Then you try to link aaddhar no with pan Card.

As per Income Tax press release the last date of aadhar link with pan has been submitted to September 30, 2019.

This will take you to a new page where you can enter your PAN card number and Aadhaar card number to check the status of your linking request.

  9. Once your Aadhaar card is successfully linked with your PAN card, you can use it for various purposes such as filing income tax returns, applying for a passport, and more. It is mandatory to link your Aadhaar card with your PAN card as per the Indian government’s regulations.
